Challenge:

Orlando Health desired to be a leader in neurological care to better serve community need. To accomplish their goal, an expanded neuroscience facility was needed. The challenge centered on determining the appropriate location for a new medical office building on Orlando Health’s campus.

Solution:

A new three-story medical office building was designed to meet the growing healthcare needs of the Florida community. The new facility offers housing Neurodiagnostics, Neurology, Pain Management, and Physical Therapy departments. Pulse Design Group’s medical equipment planning department provided programming, procurement, and installation for 65 exam rooms, two procedure rooms with C-Arms, and five procedure rooms with EEG and EMG’s, and other support spaces. The Orlando Health Neuroscience Institute will increase patient capacity and enhance patient experience.
