Challenge:

Eurofins Viracor BioPharma needed a flexible, high-performance laboratory to conduct research and testing. The space needed to be repurposed from a former call center—an open, non-technical structure not originally designed to support complex research and testing. The challenge required transforming an expansive commercial office into an advanced laboratory and accommodating future growth.

Solution:

Pulse Design Group converted an existing 96,000 SF building into a state-of-the-art research and testing facility to support Eurofins Viracor BioPharma’s expanding work in infectious disease, vaccine development, oncology, immunology, and emerging therapeutic modalities. The redesigned space includes a 33,750 SF BSL-2 laboratory, a 15,000 SF warehouse, and 25,000 SF of administrative offices, with additional shell space to allow for future expansion. By integrating robust building systems, adaptable lab planning strategies, and efficient workflows, the facility delivers a flexible, scalable environment that supports cutting-edge scientific discovery and evolving operational needs.
