Challenge:

The University of Kansas Health System desired to integrate various programmatic needs into a functional clinic flow to increase patient and staff satisfaction.

Solution:

The University of Kansas Health System’s Center for Advanced Vascular Care is a 13,000 SF remodel of an existing building to create a new clinic. The space includes 14 vascular exam rooms, six imaging suites, and four treatment rooms for cosmetic vein procedures.

The clinic design utilizes a pod layout for efficient staffing and visibility of exam rooms. Pulse Design Group’s design incorporated natural light throughout the clinic to create a warm and calming environment.

High-end finishes and custom casework create a spa-like atmosphere throughout the entire clinic. The design incorporated The University of Kansas Health System’s updated finish standards, natural light, and biophilic elements to create a welcoming environment for staff and patients.
