Taylor Chavez joined Pulse Design Group shortly after graduating from The University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Architecture. We are so excited to have him on the Pulse team! Learn more about Taylor below.
Where did you go to school?
I “virtually” graduated from The University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Architecture. It was a surreal experience but I’m excited to start my career at Pulse Design Group!
What made you interested in architecture and specifically in healthcare design?
Architecture is like a puzzle. On every project, lots of data is collected and the project team fits the various puzzle pieces together to make informed design decisions. Healthcare design is about listening to and empowering end users, patients, and families to create environments that are functional and aesthetically pleasing that aid in the healing process.
What excites you about the opportunity at Pulse Design Group?
I am passionate about developing a rich and comprehensive understanding of healthcare design and how architecture and technology continues to transform medical environments.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I love hammocking outdoors!
Welcome to the team, Taylor!
